Aesthetic • Sometimes you just gotta look good. For an elk, this means having bitchin’ antlers. Chick-elks size you up this way and so do rivals. When you look the best, you gain instant supremacy over competitors.
Function • Tigers and leopards look really effin’ cool, this we know. But it’s only a byproduct of utility. The patterns on their fur achieve a basic need; ninja costume.
Impact • If you’ve got to get your point across, be direct. Cobras don’t dance around the message, they get up in your grill and say “Hey bro, you don’t want what I’ve got.”
